It’s been a long while since I’ve posted anything and not because I didn’t want to but I have been a bit busy.  However I will be looking to showcase my graphic design work… So coming soon, the blog will have my business name, maybe a new theme (though I like this current one) and I don’t know what else but looking forward to having a some fun and putting plenty of hard work as I move forward.

MMM – Chloe

I watched this video this morning and it brought tears to my eyes.  It showed me that I was not alone as it relates to waiting on God. Even yesterday, the sermon showed me that God is a God of ALL comfort so no matter what I am going through, God is able to comfort me in my time of need.

This couple (Walt and Annie) struggled individually and together as they waited on God to fulfill his promise. The video also reminded me that God is faithful and that his timing is always right on time.  I hope that this video will encourage someone who may feel like giving up.

TGIF – Thankful for Good Health

On this beautiful morning, I am thankful for good health. Even if your health is not all the best you can still be thankful. Sometimes I think we get overly dramatic but then when we see what some people are going through on a daily basis, it should cause us to be thankful and grateful that our situation is not worse.

When you awake in the morning, and you still have a roof over your head, food to eat, clothes to wear, all these are reasons to be grateful for good health. And health is a broad term. We should seek to be healthy not just physically but also mentally, financially, spiritually and emotionally.

Mind your own womb

These are such powerful words…As a single Christian woman, I can really identify. Some people don’t understand how hard it is, to want to do things the right way, not just follow the world’s example. Some people don’t see the pressure that you can sometimes be under and how their comments, even if not meant to be harmful, can also add the the pressure that’s already there. Some people don’t see how, as a Christian, you have to remind yourself who you are in Christ (adopted, loved and complete) every day so that the comments don’t get to you…. Can you identify?

Nadirah Angail

pregnant bellySomewhere there is a woman: 30, no children. People ask her, “Still no kids?” Her response varies from day to day, but it usually includes forced smiles and restraint.

“Nope, not yet,” she says with a chuckle, muffling her frustration.

“Well, don’t wait forever. That clock is ticking, ya know,” the sage says before departing, happy with herself for imparting such erudite wisdom. The sage leaves. The woman holds her smile. Alone, she cries…

Cries because she’s been pregnant 4 times and miscarried every one. Cries because she started trying for a baby on her wedding night, and that was 5 years ago. Cries because her husband has an ex-wife and she has given him children. Cries because she wants desperately to try in vitro but can’t even afford the deposit. Cries because she’s done in vitro (multiple rounds) and still has no children. Cries because her best friend wouldn’t…
